Finally, an alternative to traditional prints on metal. I've always objected to metal prints because they are low resolution and fade rather quickly. I refuse to spend so much time and effort on my artwork then allow them to be printed in such an inferior way. (Don't even get me started on canvas prints!)
Metal prints, generally, are a result of a printing method called dye sublimation. They are like an iron on t-shirt that gas exchanges the ink by way of heat, which can effect the quality of your prints detail. This very special process bypasses that maximizing your prints potential.
Now that I've told you all of the things I don't like, here's some details on this process that I do like. These special metal panels are made with an ultra-wide tonal gamut and archival pigment inks. Most of the industry makes dye-sublimation metal panels which offer a more limited color range causing banding, unwanted color shifts and quick color fading.
To determine the correct size for your space please measure your wall. The examples shown are generally around 16x20 although some are custom size.
Please allow an extra week for processing as these are ordered from a special lab.
Please Order the print size you want and PUT THE NAME OF THE IMAGE YOU WANT IN THE "Add a note to your order" SECTION AS YOU CHECK OUT.
None of my Limited Edition images are eligible for metal prints.
All prints come with hangers as seen in the 2nd picture in the gallery.
